A Libertarian Perspective on the August 2011 “Week of Woe”

Proud of Libertarians at Indy Pride

Incumbent Libertarian Indianapolis City-County Councilor Ed Coleman participated in the Indy Pride Parade yesterday in Indianapolis. Riding with him in the same convertible car was popular Survivor: Pearl Island contestant Rupert Boneham. Libertarian Indianapolis mayoral candidate Chris Bowen also was in the parade as well.

SEIU Plans Financial Terrorism?

** Originally posted by Chris Spangle at The Facts Were These **

I am no fan of banks. I think most libertarians aren’t. I think institutions like the Federal Reserve (a banking cartel), the World Bank, and the IMF (International Monetary Fund) are organizations to transfer wealth from the poor to the rich with the blessing of most governments in the world. They help cause human suffering, especially in the third world, and I think they should be abolished.

Our 2012 Victory Plan

Dear Liberty Defenders,

I am pleased to share with you the Atlas Liberty 2012 Victory Plan. The plan outlines not only how we will be supporting candidates through the 2012 elections, but also who we will be supporting.

Moving Forward

As the newly hired Executive Director of Atlas Liberty, I am very excited and optimistic about the next two years. Right now across the country people have been screaming for balanced budgets, lower taxes, economic development and social equality. This message was carried through to the 2010 elections. Sadly, the parties now moving into power will not truly represent these issues.

Introductions

Hello Fellow Liberty Defenders,

My name is Evan McMahon and as some of you may already know... I was recently hired by Atlas Liberty as their new Executive Director.

My goal, over the next 2 years, is to build a network of energetic and passionate supports from all across the country. With this grassroots network fully developed, we will raise up our nominated candidates propelling them to victories in their electoral campaigns.

Congratulations to Bob Barr!

Congratulations to former Congressman Bob Barr and his nomination as the Libertarian candidate for United States President. Atlas Liberty looks forward to the vibrant Libertarian campaign that already has begun and to the Libertarian candidates all over the country that should benefit greatly from this campaign.

10 Scholarships to June 2008 Campaign & Elections Seminar

Atlas Liberty is looking for 10 libertarians from across the nation to send to the annual Campaign & Elections seminar The Art of Political Campaigning, June 12 - 14, 2008 at the Washington Marriott in Washington, D.C. Libertarians selected to attend will be those with good qualifications and a proven desire to work to get libertarians elected to political office. Registration and hotel will be paid by Atlas Liberty. There may be available a stipend to cover some or all of transportation costs to Washington, D.C. Atlas Liberty Training Assistance Benefits Libertarian Campaign

Already, the work of Atlas Liberty to train libertarians to run and help win elections is paying off.

Andy Wolf, LaPorte County Libertarian Party Chairman, went with the Atlas Liberty contingent to the annual Campaign & Elections seminar The Art of Political Campaigning. Atlas Liberty paid for the seminar registration of almost $500.

Now he is using what he learned to help elect Libertarian Michael Lisak to the LaPorte City Council.
